We have always loved the Black Bass but won't be rushing back any time soon. We had to take a 5:30 reservation in order to get a table by the window on the porch which was fine. The place was empty when we arrived but the hostess sat us right on top of another table of two which was awkward and uncomfortable. The dinner specials were not known when we were first asked to order so we waited until they were posted. Our waitress was excellent as was the food but the atmosphere was not. The bus staff kept asking us if we were "still working on that" when we were still eating and swooped in to grab our plates the minute we put our forks down. It felt less "fine" dining and more like a cafeteria. It was not a very relaxing meal and we felt rushed so decided against coffee and dessert. Very disappointing.
